Young announces world dates

– Chris Young announced he would make his initial tour to Germany along with a second visit to Australia and third trip to London and Great Britain on his 2015 A.M. World Tour.
Young heads to Australia, with headlining shows set for Melbourne on March 11, Sydney March 13 and a return visit to CMC Rocks The Hunter Festival in Ipswich on March 14.
While en-route to Oz, Young will visit Honolulu for his first full concert there. He later headlines London Sept. 14 and Dublin Sept. 17 before making his inaugural run in Germany for dates in Munich Sept. 19, Cologne Sept. 20 and Berlin Sept. 22/ Young will kick off the fall 2015 run of shows with a two-night stint in Switzerland for the Gstaad Festival Sept. 11-12. Additional worldwide dates are expected to be announced soon.
Young, 29, made his inaugural trip to Great Britain and Ireland in 2013 for the CMA Songwriters Series. That same year, he made his CMC Rocks The Hunter debut. In 2014, Young played shows in London, Dublin, Stavanger and Oslo, Norway, and Gotteborg and Stockholm, Sweden.

Chris Young has one of the best country voices, and it's always a pleasure to hear him sing. But it's disappointing when the title cut sounds more like the groove to a Justin Bieber song than anything truly country. When, say, someone like Jason Aldean performs music with barely any resemblance to real country music, it's not that big a deal; he's not a great natural singer to begin with. Song selection can sometimes seem fairly inessential whenever chosen by a master singer. Such is the case with "It Must Be Christmas," Chris Young's new holiday collection. He sounds as perfectly comfortable with the jazzy "I'll Be Home for Christmas," where its supper club vibe takes a little of the edge off one seriously sad song, as he does with the Phil Spector rock nugget "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)."
