Dan + Shay slate fall + tour

Monday, May 19, 2014 – Dan + Shay announced fall tour dates on their "Where It All Began Tour," kicking off in October in Minneapolis and ending later that month in Columbus, Ohio.

The duo, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, just released their debut disc, "Where It All Began," which contains the hit "19 You + Me."

The ACM Award Nominees have been on the road with Hunter Hayes this spring and will join Blake Shelton this summer.

The track list on Dan +Shay's self-titled third album has a song crediting Kelly Clarkson as a featured vocalist. Upon a full listen, you will think they forgot about a few others. The disc features the duo's contemporary sound that mirrors many artists in the genre. Dan Myers and James Shay Mooney came from different parts of the country (Allegheny County, Pa. and Arkansas, respectively) and met in Nashville where each was tracking the well-worn path to country music success. They began writing songs together a little over three years ago, already have a hit album ("Where It All Began") and now have another tiger by the tail. In fact, Dan Smyers of Pittsburgh and Shay Mooney of Arkansas come mighty close to mimicking the longstanding country stars with the biggest difference that they're a duo and Rascal Flatts is a trio.
