Carrie Underwood goes digital platinum
Monday, June 18, 2007 – Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" becomes only the second country song in history to earn RIAA Platinum Mastertone status, recognizing one million purchased ringtones.
The song follows closely on the heels of the March certification of Waylon Jennings' 1980 RCA number 1 single, "Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol' Boys)."
Already certified as an RIAA Platinum Digital Single, "Before He Cheats" also recently became the best-selling digital country song in chart history.
