Austin DJ starts Clear Channel syndicated radio show

Monday, February 4, 2013 – Bobby Bones announced today that he would move from an Austin station to WSIX in Nashville to host a morning syndication show on many Clear Channel outlets.

"It is really bittersweet for me because it's something that I started and built from scratch with friends," he said. Bones started the show in 2003. The show airs its last show on Friday and had been on 18 stations.

"We are on, I think, to bigger and better things," Bones said. The Arkansas native will be joined by show members Lunchbox and Amy. They will debut on WSIX on Feb. 18.

Stations carrying the new show will include KASE/Austin, KSD/St. Louis, KTGX/Tulsa, KYKR/Beaumont, WCKT/Ft. Myers, FL, WOBB/Albany, Ga. and WTXT/Tuscaloosa, Ala. Bones also announced a countdown that will be carried on more than 100 Country stations.
