Underwood leads country chart
Wednesday, September 5, 2012 – Carrie Underwood will have the top selling country disc when the Billboard charts are out on Thursday with "Blown Away."
Underwood jumped from 21 to 8 with 28,000 units sold, an 85 percent increase thought to be due to an iTunes sale price of $6.99. The disc was the only country album in the top 10. Christian act TobyMac leads the chart with "Eye On It," at 69,000 units sold.
Over on the Digital Songs chart, Taylor Swift leads the pack for a third week with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together selling 253,000 downloads, down 17 percent.
