Gloriana releases Veteran's Day song

– In celebration of Veterans Day, Gloriana released Soldier Song
today from their forthcoming second studio album on Emblem Music Group/ Warner as a free download for 24 hours today exclusively at www.gloriana.com/soldiersong.
The song, written by band members Tom and Mike Gossin and producer Matt Serletic, was inspired by the band's experience during their trip overseas to perform for the troops stationed in the Middle East and Europe last November. Gloriana's new single is (Kissed You) Good Night.
Gloriana will be doing a special performance of Soldier Song in Rochester, Minn. today as part of the town's Veterans Day celebration.

It is interesting that Gloriana shares its name with a 1953 English opera, as they sound much the same --powerful, scripted and slightly overdramatic. The group's tight-knit harmonies are the crux of this 13-track album; they gorgeously weave and contrast strong 2-, 3- and 4-parts into almost every verse. Occasionally the group over sings, but then, they are fighting to be heard over layers of unneeded production.
