Nichols performs at AFC game Sunday
Friday, January 21, 2011
– Joe Nichols was just announced as the halftime entertainment for this weekend's AFC Championship game, when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the New York Jets at Heinz Field Sunday in Pittsburgh, beginning at 6:30 eastern.
"I am a sports fanatic and being able to perform at halftime for the fans of the Steelers and the Jets is such a thrill for me," Nichols said. "One of these teams will be going to the Super Bowl-enough said. So being able to pump the fans up, even more than they already will be, is my goal. Thanks to the Steelers' organization for making it happen."
