McBride sings anthem Sunday at AFC game
Friday, January 21, 2011 – Martina McBride will sing the National Anthem at this Sunday's AFC Championship game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets. McBride has been a good luck charm for the Steelers thus far and the Steelers' wouldn't mind her luck again.
"Martina is 2-0, and we hope she brings the magic to stay undefeated," said John Wodarek, Steelers Marketing Manager.
"Singing our National Anthem is always an honor. I will always remember singing the anthem in Pittsburgh two years ago for the playoff game," said McBride. "It's amazing to be there in the middle of all those football fans and all that excitement, I can't wait."
The game starts at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.
