Montgomery Gentry wins Humanitarian Award

Sunday, April 18, 2010 – Montgomery Gentry formally won the Humanitarian Award at the ACMs Sunday.

"This definitely a very humbling moment right now," said Troy Gentry with his voice shaking. He cited "so many other artists who do so many good things."

"For us to be recognized tonight is a little bit embarrassing," he said.

"Truly an honor to be recognized for everything we've done," said Gentry. Montgomery, praised volunteers. "This is the greatest country in the world." He cited American heroes and thanked the crowd.
