Bucky Covington releases new single
Wednesday, September 30, 2009 – Bucky Covington returns with his newest single, Gotta Be Somebody," from an album due out next year.
The song, a hit for Nickelback, written by band members Chad Kroeger and Ryan Peake, along with co-producer Joey Moi, is the new single from Covinvgton's upcoming sophomore album, "I'm Alright," releasing spring 2010. The music video was shot during the former American Idol finalist's recent hometown concert in Rockingham, N.C. and is expected to hit online and TV video outlets within the next month.
Covington's self-titled debut CD opened at number 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in April 2007 with the biggest first week sales for any debut country artist that year.
