Opry honors Dolly

The Opry has a long history of honoring its members who have passed and celebrating their impact on the Opry family. A portion of each tickets sold from the show will be donated to Parton's ImaginationLibrary.com, which donated millions of books to children.

arly Pearce, who began her career at Dollywood and was surprised by Parton with an invitation to join the Opry in 2021, performed "Those Memories of You" and celebrated her fifth anniversary as an Opry member.

Kathy Mattea dedicated "Jolene" to Parton's memory. Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show and Molly Tuttle sang "Just Someone I Used To Know," and Dan Tyminski dedicated "Smile When You're Alone" to Parton, saying "her voice would have been perfect on it."

Additional performances included T. Graham Brown delivering a rendition of "Beulah Land," Belle Frantz, making her Opry debut, singing "Where No One Stands Alone," Channing Wilson offering "My Tennessee Mountain Home" and Jada Star, Dolly's niece, performing "The Orchard."

All the artists gathered at the end of the show to perform "9 to 5," including a surprise walk-on by Opry member Jelly Roll. The night concluded with all the artists and several backstage guests on stage watching a video of Dolly singing "I Will Always Love You."
