Gossett goes for the "Clothesline"

"Ramblin'" is due Sept. 25 via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records.

"Clothesline" captures the push and pull of a relationship he knows will ultimately leave him hanging. Lyrics include "I know you're just gonna hang me out to dry / So close to bein' left on that clothesline / Oh second guessing's always left in this old heart of mine."

Gossett also released a live performance of "Clothesline" shot at his family's lake house outside of Austin.

"Clothesline" follows recent album singles "Loving You Like That," "My Boy" and "Honeysuckle."

Fresh off select North American dates supporting Mumford & Sons and The Red Clay Strays tonight, Gossett begins his co-headlining U.S. tour with Charles Wesley Godwin, which runs through the fall. They are playing Lubbock, Texas tonight.
