Ringo slates fall shows

The shows follow the release of his 22nd solo album, the country disc "Long Long Road." He wrote and recorded the record with T Bone Burnett.

The All Starrs are Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette and Buck Johnson.

The tour will begin in Easton, Pa. and conclude at the Palace Theater in Albany, N.Y. Ringo will also play at the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. This is the first time since he performed there with The Beatles, who played two sold-out shows on Aug. 28-29, 1964, marking the groups first ever stadium shows.

"We just finished a dpring tour which ended at the Greek (Theatre in Los Angeles)," said Starr. "It was all so great. The audiences were so loving, and I just love playing with this band. I'm really looking forward to these fall shows. See you in September."

Starr turns 86 on Tuesday. He invites everyone everywhere to say, think or post Peace & Love at Noon their local time. Starr has been dedicating his birthdays to promoting Peace & Love since 2008, and the movement has grown to include events all over the world. Tomorrow Ringo will be celebrating with friends, family and fans in Los Angeles, which will be live streamed across his social media platforms.
