Jackson's Last Call adds Strait, Wilson

Wednesday, May 27, 2026 – Alan Jackson's Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale has a few more guest stars – George Strait and Lainey Wilson – playing at the final full-length concert of his career.

The concert will be held on Saturday, June 27 at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.

Strait and Jackson have teamed up many times. Their history includes the duets "Designated Drinker" and the CMA Award-winning "Murder on Music Row" and a concert album and DVD with the late Jimmy Buffett. After the passing of George Jones in 2013, the two performed "He Stopped Loving Her Today" at that year's CMA Awards. They teamed up again for a medley of Jackson's "Remember When" and Strait's "Troubadour" a decade ago as the CMA Awards celebrated its 50th anniversary.

WIlsone was part of the all-star lineup that saluted Jackson when he received the Country Music Association's Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 CMA Awards, performing "Chasin' That Neon Rainbow" before joining him and others on an all-star rendition of "Don't Rock the Jukebox."

Previously announced participants include Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Lee Ann Womack long with Adam Wright, Big City Brian Wright and Carlisle Wright.

He's been cranking them out for decades, and even after officially retiring from major touring a decade ago, Strait has continued to record and release a new album occasionally. This is his first since 2019, but it sounds exactly like almost every other one, which, in his case, isn't really a bad thing. Strait's friendship and collaborative relationship with Chris Stapleton continues here, with Stapleton guesting ...
CD review - Bell Bottom Country Lainey Wilson was named Billboard's Top New Country Artist of 2021, ACM 2022 New Female Artist of the Year, CMT's 2022 "Breakout Artist of the Year" and scored six CMA Awards nominations, some impressive achievements for a relatively new face on the country music scene. This new album only confirms that she is a unique talent with her own sound in a genre that usually rewards conformity and sameness. There is as much rock 'n' roll in these tunes as there is country ...
