Parton goes deluxe, Spencer debuts

Friday, January 19, 2024 – Dolly Parton, is celebrating her birthday this year by surprising fans with a deluxe version of her genre-bending "Rockstar" album.

The deluxe version contains six new songs for a total of 39 with a variety of guests helping out Parton on her first rock album. The set includes:

32. "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"
33. "Mama Never Said"
34. "Two Tickets To Paradise"
=35. "Jolene (featuring Maneskin)"
36. "Stay Out Of My Bedroom"
37. "Bridge Over Troubled Water"
38. "The Entertainer"
39. "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)"

Baltimore native Brittany Spencer drops her debut, "My Stupid Life," today via Elektra. Spencer helped write all 13 songs. Recorded at Sound Emporium Studios and Blackbird Studio in Nashville, the album was produced by Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, Brett Eldredge), with the exception of two tracks. Marcus "MarcLo" Lomax (Maren Morris, Justin Bieber, Kelsea Ballerini), who produced the lead single — "Bigger Than The Song" — and Romil Hemnani (BROCKHAMPTON), who produced "New To This Town.
