It's Xmas in October with Pardi plus Judds tribute, Flatland Cavalry, Springsteen deluxe
In celebration of The Judds' 40th anniversary, "A Tribute to The Judds," a covers tribute disc is out on BMG. Wynonna Judd is one of the featured singers alongside Ashley McBryde, Blake Shelton, Carl Perkins, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Dolly Parton, Ella Langley, Gabby Barrett, Gwen Stefani, Jamey Johnson, Jelly Roll, Jennifer Nettles, K. Michelle, Lainey Wilson, LeAnn Rimes, Megan Moroney, Molly Tuttle, O.N.E. The Duo, Raul Malo, Reba McEntire, Rob Ickes, Shelly Fairchild, Sonya Isaacs, The Fisk Jubilee Singers, Trey Hensley, Trisha Yearwood, and Wendy Moten. All tracks were developed by The Judds' original producer, Brent Maher outside of "Cry Myself to Sleep," which was produced by Wynonna's husband, Cactus Moser. "Mama He's Crazy" featuring Parton and Wilson, is the focus track.
Flatland Cavalry's "Wandering Star" is out via Interscope Records, their first release in partnership with the label. Produced by Dwight A. Baker (Josh Abbott Band, Pat Green), the disc from the Texas band is infused with country.
Columbia Records/Sony Music Nashville artist-songwriter Alana Springsteen releases the extended version of her debut, "TWENTYSOMETHING (DELUXE)." Springsteen released her music over the course of three installments – "Messing It Up" " Figuring It Out" and "Getting It Right." Springsteen tacks on three new tracks to the deluxe version.
The Cadillac Three bring their brand of fuzz country to "The Years Go Fast," their sixth CD for the Big Machine record label. The band consists of Jaren Johnston, Neil Mason and Kelby Ray. The release is the first since 2020's twin releases of "Country Fuzz" and "Tabasco & Sweet Tea."
Three-time Canadian Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year Dallas Smith released his self-titled album today via Big Loud Records. This marks his debut for the label. With writing credits from HARDY, Cole Swindell and Ernest, Ashley Gorley and Hillary Lindsey, the 12-song project is produced by Joey Moi (Morgan Wallen, HARDY).

CD reviews for Jon Pardi
You know from the first notes of Jon Pardi's "All I Want For Christmas" that this is going to be good album as it starts off with a steel guitar intro. Later, there is also a twin fiddle solo. These elements reveal how this track is a true country version. It's also executed well, which makes this old holiday warhorse of a song somehow sound fresh and new. It's one of 12 winners and proves once again what a gift Pardi is to us all.

Jon Pardi's "Mr. Saturday Night" sounds as though most of its stories take place on the weekend at an idealized country honky tonk. Many of these drinking holes also feature swinging doors and jukeboxes. They don't seem like citified bars, but they perfectly fit Pardi's enjoyable neo-traditional song cycle.
Although the drums pound much harder on the single "Last Night Lonely" than they do on truly traditional country music, Pardi incorporates far more fiddle ...
Jon Pardi may sing about heartache medication with this collection of songs, but his focus on arrangements filled with traditional musical elements (fiddle, steel guitar and twangy electric guitar) is joyfully medicinal for anyone sickened by so much mainstream country music that lacks many (if not all) of these essential country instruments.
These songs read as well as they sound, though. For example, the drinking song "Me and Jack" begins with a thumping, Johnny Cash-inspired country groove. ...
