Townes , The Reklaws, Swift score two Canadian awards nominations

Tuesday, January 31, 2023 – Tenille Townes, The Reklaws and Taylor Swift were nominated on Tuesday for two Juno Awards, the Canadian Grammies.

Townes was nominated for Country Album of the year for "Masquerade" along with High Valley for "Way Back," Jade Eagleson for "Honkytonk Revival, Orville Peck for "Bronco" and The Reklaws "Good Ol' Days."

Townes also was one of five Songwriter of the Year nominees for "The Last Time" along with co-songwriters Gordon Sampson, Benjamin Goldsmith, "When You Need It" with co-songwriter Stephen Wrabel and "When's It Gonna Happen" with co-songwriters Stephenie Jones, Stephen Wrabel.

The Tiktok Juno Fan Choice nominees include The Reklaws and MacKenzie Porter. The Reklaws also were nominated for Group of the Year.

Taylor Swift scored two of the five International Album of the Year nominations with "Midnights" and "Red (Taylor's Version).

The Sadies' "Colder Streams" was nominated for Adult Alternative Album of the year.

Contemporary Roots Album of the Year nominees were:

Come Morning – The Bros. Landreth

Tell me You Were Gold – Pharis and Jason Romero
The Empress – The McDades

Producer of he Year nominees include Jason Dufour for Eagleson's "Honkytonk Revival" and "Ria Rae for "Therapy."

The Weekend with six nominations.

The 52nd Annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week 2023 will take place in Edmonton, Alberta March 9 -13.
