McCollum injures finger - no guitar for eight weeks

Wednesday, May 18, 2022 – Parker McCollum injured his finger and is on the shelf from playing guitar for eight weeks.

But the Texas singer will not be forced to cancel any shows.

Country Aircheck reported on Wednesday that McCollum incurred the injury while tossing a football with friends.

McCollum has a mallet finger, an injury to the end of your finger that causes it to bend inwards towards your palm. He is wearing a splint that will prevent him from playing guitar for the next eight weeks.

"All shows are still on," said McCollum via Twitter. "Just won't be able to play guitar [until] mid-July. God is good!"
