The album opens with "Raised On Country" – an ode to his influences in country music like Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Joe Diffie and George Strait. The 14 songs on the disc feature Young's own friends, including collaborations with Brown, Lauren Alaina and Mitchell Tenpenny. Young was among four producers on the CD.
Travis Denning, who has enjoyed some success on country radio, is out with his sophomore EP, "Dirt Road Down." The collection includes Denning's current goodbye singalong, "ABBY," and five additional songs co-written by the Georgian. The new release is the follow up to Denning's Top 20 debut EP earlier last year.
Kolby Cooper, who put out an EP last year on his own, dishes out his hard-edged country EP, "Boy From Anderson Country," on BBR Music Group / Wheelhouse. The release contains six songs, all in part penned by Cooper, a 21-year-old Texan.
