Guyton becomes a mom

Sunday, February 7, 2021 – Mickey Guyton became a mother for the first time.

The singer, the only Black female country singer on a major label in Nashville, delivered the news via social media: "The hardest and most beautiful thing I have ever done. Welcome to the world Grayson! "

Guyton is married to Grant Savoy. The couple wed on June 26, 2017 in Kauai, Hawaii.

Guyton, who has been very active in speaking out on social issues over ther past year, also offered a quote from the Bible: "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. - Psalm 30:5"
