I'll Answer the Call (Rebel, 2001)

Less of a milestone than a solid example of Ralph Stanley's later gospel work, "I'll Answer The Call" is virtually indistinguishable from any of the similar albums he has released since. There is a healthy mixture of traditional tunes, from, "Let The Church Roll On," to "Calling My Children Home," and the Stanley-penned title track, "I'll Answer The Call," but nothing really jumps out and grabs you by either the ears or the heart like the earlier work.
