In an increasing age of specialization and categorization, it's no surprise that an established star like Reba McEntire would record an album built around the Valentine's Day theme. With 4 new tunes on the 10-song disc, it might please the die-hard McEntire fans or the casual Hallmark customer, but there's not much new ground broken.

The highlight is McEntire's version of "I'll Still Be Loving You," a number 1 hit ballad for Restless Heart 20 years ago. McEntire wraps her signature twang around the song and does a respectable job, but it lacks the obvious harmonies of Restless Heart's classic version.

The other three new songs, "Bad For My Own Good," "With You I Am" and "Big Blue Sky" are forgettable album fillers with the two former being ballads. The six previously-recorded songs fit well into the Valentine's Day theme with "The Heart Won't Lie," McEntire's duet with Vince Gill that has become one of her signature ballads, along with "Forever Love" and the rollicking title track.

There's even a reminder to keep your head up for those lonely on this Hallmark holiday - "Someday."
