Tank, one man's best friend, is missing

Jeffrey Remz  |  June 16, 2010

Lord knows they didn't take Tank for his good looks.

Well, on the other hand, some find English bulldogs attractive. Whatever. At least and most importantly Tracy Lawrence does.

Tank, Tracy Lawrence's dog

And now the singer is a sad man because his beloved Tank, a Father's Day present a few years ago, is missing and gone.

Some butthead apparently stole Tank from Lawrence's truck Tuesday night in the Mt. Juliet, Tenn. area while Lawrence made a pit stop at his local Walgreens. Lawrence takes good care of his dog - he just gave the dog a bath - but that was also bad news because man's best friend did not have any ID or collar as a result.

Now, Lawrence is offering a $500 reward for Tank. Hopefully this will lead to some sort of song. Until then, Sgt. Michael Mullins at the Mt. Juliet Police Department at 615-754-2552 is your man.
