Luke Bryan announces first headlining tour

Monday, September 14, 2009 – Luke Bryan will launch his first headline tour, "Doin' My Thing Tour," in late October with shows continuing through early December. Prior to the tour launch Bryan will release his sophomore album, "Doin' My Thing," on Oct. 6.

Republic Records duo Fast Ryde will open.

The kick-off city, venue and date - Oct. 30 in Jacksonville, Fla. - was specifically chosen by Bryan as part of his love for college football as the date is the eve of the big Southeastern Conference Georgia-Florida rivalry game in Jacksonville
