Wednesday, April 1, 2009 – Megan Mullins is switching labels, becoming the flagship artist for the brand new Stoney Creek Records. She was on Broken Bow since 2006.
Mullins' first single, Long Past Gone,will be available to radio on Monday, April 6. The song was written by Mullins and Marla Cannon Goodman. The single is going for radio adds on May 11. Her debut album is due out nationwide this fall.
"We are thrilled about Megan debuting on Stoney Creek Records. She has been hard at work in the studio and we are very excited about her new music," said CEO/President Benny Brown. He also started Broken Bow Records.
Since Mullins began performing at the age of 2 she comes to the label with 20 years of experience, and at least 2,000 performances under her belt. Mullins, 22, recently put the final touches on her forthcoming album, produced by Buddy Cannon (Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson), writing 6 out of the 11 songs.
