Monday, May 7, 2018
– Morgan Evans will launch the 10 in 10 tour, playing 10 cities in 10 days in preparation for the release of his debut.
The tour, which includes headlining shows and festival appearances, kicks off in Los Angeles on June 21 and wraps on June 30 in Washington, D.C. Tickets for the newly announced dates go on-sale this Friday, May 11.
"Playing live is my favorite thing to do, so what better way to celebrate my first single on country radio than to play it live?" said Evans. "I'll be bringing the loop pedal and giving you the first listen to music that is to come. I'd do 365 if I could, but 10 seems like a reasonable place to start. I can't wait to see all 10 cities in 10 days."
The Australia native's debut U.S. single "Kiss Somebody" is closing in on Top 15 at country radio. The song was penned by Evans with Chris DeStefano and Josh Osborne.
Evans is an opening act on Chris Young's "Losing Sleep World Tour. Evans, who is married to Kelsea Ballerini, is recording his debut for Warner Nashville.

Things That We Drink To
Morgan Evans' U.S. debut a matter of personal preference. It straddles the line between repetitious and tedious. If you like radio friendly, cliched three-minute singles, then this half hour is for you. He is clearly following the formula that powered his international single," Kiss Somebody" to number one in the U.S. 2017 was a busy year for Evans between moving to the U.S. from Australia and marrying Kelsea Ballerini. She serves as his muse on several of the songs, clearly »»»
There's been a window in Morgan Evans' life where he has had the unusual experience of living in the shadow of his own personal life. If Nashville had a Homecoming Court, Kelsea Ballerini would surely be in it. And Evans must have disappointed legions of men by marrying her in 2017. But while the groom had some buzz as a singer/songwriter in his own right, much of the familiarity with his work stayed on the shores of his native Australia. He finally took the plunge in 2017 to pursue »»»
Editorial: Walking the talk
When names like Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Waylon and the Hag are invoked, you're talking hard core country. These are the touchstones of country , the guys who made country music what it was and still is (or maybe can be). When these folks would sing about being down-and-out and the rough-and-tumble, they knew of what they were singing about. Fast forward a few years to the country singers of today. »»»
Concert Review: Old, new, it's all good for Platt & The Honeycutters
Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters were not mounting the stage with anything particularly new to push. The quartet's self-titled fifth album came out just over 1 ½-years ago. Lest one think that Platt and band were growing tired of life on the road, far from it.
In a well-delivered 85-minute set, Platt and The Honeycutters turned that ancient... »»»
Concert Review: Lake Street Dive ends the year in style
Lake Street Dive may have been looking back when it offered that traditional New Year's song "Auld Lang Syne" as the new year rolled in. No matter which way the band looks - forwards or backwards - life is good.
For the second time in six weeks, Lake Street Dive was back home (the Brooklyn-based group formed at the local New England... »»»

Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn have powerhouse individual talents; each has followed an estimable career path to where they find themselves today: making complex, but spare, records, writing music together and touring with their son Juno.
