– Chris Young releases his first holiday disc today, "It Must Be Christmas." Young recorded 10 songs for the effort, including "The First Noel" with Brad Paisley and "I'll Be Home For Christmas."
Rock/roots/country band Blackberry Smoke returns with "Like An Arrow," which they self-released. Recorded just outside of the band's native Atlanta at The Quarry Recording Studio in Kennesaw, GA, the 12-track album was self-produced and features special guest Gregg Allman on the album's closing track, "Free On The Wing."
Steve Earle's seminal "Guitar Town" is reissued 30 years later, including a live disc recorded at the Park West in Chicago.
