Midland band signs with Big Machine
Wednesday, March 9, 2016
– Texas trio Midland signed with Big Machine Label Group.
The band apparently has been in the studio recording an EP, they said on their Facebook page. The page cited "another incredible week of work in the studio with @shanemcanally & @joshosborne." Both McAnally and Osborne are leading songwriters, while McAnally also has produced acts including Kacey Musgraves, Sam Hunt, Old Dominion and Jake Owen.
Midland is comprised of lead singer Mark Wystrach, bassist Cameron Duddy and lead guitarist Jess Carson. The band has a traditional country sound.
There was no word on when music would be released, although the band's web site has songs posted.

She apologized many times for the utter unhappiness expressed through this album's songs, admitting it's "not the most chipper album" at one point.... »»»
