– JT Hodges releases his contemporary new take on the classic holiday song Joy to the World
today via iTunes.
The newly recorded versionis featured in the new holiday Hallmark Channel network movie "Finding Christmas" in which Hodges also stars.
The English hymn originally written by Isaac Watts in 1719, celebrates Christ's triumphant return and imitates the language of the New Testament.
Hodges performs the song when he goes to an open-mic night at a New York City club with his new love interest, Mina in the movie, which airs on the network on Sunday, Dec, 15 at 8 p.m. eastern.
