Gill tops new releases

Tuesday, July 30, 2013 – Vince Gill heads a short list of new releases today. Gill team with ace pedal steel player Paul Franklin for "Bakersfield." The disc contains songs done by Merle Haggard and Buck Owens, who were part of the Bakersfield sound.

Chris Shiftlett & The Dead Peasants put out its second disc, "All Hat and No Cattle." Shiflett is best known for being a member of Foo Fighters.
