– Florida Georgia will probably have more good times this year as the band announced its first headlining tour today.
The fun starts in early October in South Dakota and ends in mid-December in Washington. Colt Ford, Tyler Farr and Dallas Smith will be on the tour as well.
FGL has enjoyed huge success with 4x Platinum song Cruise, which has dominated Billboard's Hot Country Songs Chart at number 1 for 19 straight weeks, the longest stretch for any song in the past 50 years.
The first show to go on sale - Nov. 19 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington, Ky. - sold out in a record-breaking 23 minutes with 10,718 tickets.
"We can't wait to give our fans what they have been asking for all year - our own headline tour," said Tyler Hubbard. "It is unreal, and the first night of the tour can't get here fast enough."
Brian Kelley said, "This is another dream of ours coming true. I couldn't be more excited and more proud of the tour. Having Colt, Dallas and Tyler along with us is going to make for a party."
Florida Georgia Line also went number one with Get Your Shine On. The record-breaking duo - Tyler Hubbard (Monroe, Ga.) and Brian Kelley (Ormond Beach, Fla.) - is the first in 21 years to top the country airplay charts with their first two singles, according to Billboard.
The ACM New Artist of the Year and New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year winner's current single, Round Here, is Top 20.
Ford's latest, "Declaration of Independence," debuted at atop Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Colt's new single, Drivin' Around Song, featuring Jason Aldean, ships to radio July 15. Colt penned 2 number 1 hits in 2012: Jason Aldean's Dirt Road Anthem and Brantley Gilbert's Country Must Be Country Wide.
Farr has a hit with Redneck Crazy. With the launch of his debut album, of the same name set for October, the Missouri native is currently on tour for select dates with Lee Brice.
Hailing from Vancouver, Smith puts rock in his brand of country music. Smith has a disc out, "Jumped Right In," produced by Joey Moi (Jake Owen, Florida Georgia Line), in Canada. Smith is working on his first U.S. release via Big Loud Mountain Records.
