Jessie James releases new single

Friday, May 11, 2012 – Show Dog -Universal Music recording artist Jessie James will release her new single to country radio May 14.

Military Man was written in honor of her stepfather who is a colonel and fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force. "I wrote this song about my step dad who raised me," said James. "Not only is he a hero because he is in our military, but he's a hero to our family. I feel like he rescued me and my siblings and loved us as if we were his own and made my mama so happy. I am proud of him and all of our military."

The autobiographical song is about her life growing up as a military child.
