Broken down bus leads to marriage

Wednesday, March 28, 2012 – A broken down bus is usually not a cause for celebration, but for Average Joe's artist Matt Stillwell, it was.

Stillwell and his longtime girlfriend, Lindsey Crawford, were on a broken down bus in Las Vegas in between radio station visits when they decided to tie the knot.

"This is the first time I can say I was happy for my tour bus to break down," said Stillwell. "I am so excited to be married to such a beautiful woman, inside and out. She is a wonderful mama to our baby Carolina and my best friend."

The Stillwells got hitched last Thursday, March 22 at the Vegas Wedding Chapel. They went on the cheap for their wedding reception - they stopped to refuel their bus at a Pilot/Flying J and ordered KFC.

Stillwell is currently visiting radio stations and performing in support of his new single Ignition.

The ever-strong voiced country traditionalist sang, "I don't need fortune and I don't need fame" with the concluding line of the stanza asking the Man upstairs to "plan a good day for me.... »»»
Concert Review: Cantrell continues to satisfy – Laura Cantrell may never be a country star. Not at this stage of her career when she's 50, touring here and there and releasing new music every few years or so. But five albums in, Cantrell continues as a warm, enjoyable and worthy purveyor of her brand of country. That would mean going towards a more traditional side, not rushing the songs... »»»

Tyminski goes dark Dan Tyminski (known simply as "Tyminski" on his 2017 release "Southern Gothic") has traditional music roots and unassailable bluegrass street cred especially given his membership in Alison Krauss' Union Station. He is also a powerful songwriter and has been writing songs for himself and others for years now.... »»»
