Thursday, March 17, 2011 – Sara Evans debuted in first with "Stronger" on the Billboard Country Albums chart for the week ending March 26. Jason Aldean stayed first on the Billboard Country Songs chart with
Don't You Wanna Stay, his song with Kelly Clarkson.
Billy Currington was up one to second with Let Me Down Easy on the song chart, followed by duo Thompson Square, also up one with Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not. Brad Paisley's This is Country Music fell from second to fourth. Zac Brown Band was up three to fifth with Colder Weather.
Darius Rucker's This also was up three to sixth. Jerrod Niemann broke into the top 10 - at 9 - with What Do You Want, followed by Miranda Lambert's Heart Like Mine, up 2.
Kenny Chesney was at 14, up 3, with Live a Little. Easton Corbin similarly climbed 3, to 21, with I Can't Love You Back. Reba McEntire's If I Were a Boy was at 22, up 3. Justin Moore jumped 5 to 23 with If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away. Ashton Shepherd's new single, Look It Up, moved 3 spots to 24. Chris Young was the biggest mover with Tomorrow, skyrocketing from 34 to 25. Three was the big number this week apparently as Josh Turner's I Wouldn't Be a Man was up 3 to 26 and Brett Eldredge's Raymond up 3 to 27. Toby Keith jumped from 35 to 28 with Somewhere Else.
On the album chart, Evans took over for "Town Line," the EP from hard rocker Aaron Lewis, which slipped to fourth. Aldean stayed second with "My Kinda Party," and Lady Antebellum again third with "Need You Now."
The rest of the top 40 had very little movement. Blake Shelton's "All About Tonight" EP jumped from 46 to 38.
On the bluegrass album chart, Dierks Bentley moved back to first with "Up on the Ridge." The Wailin' Jennys were second with "Bright Morning Stars," and The Grascals third with "The Grascals & Friends: Country Classics With a Bluegrass Twist." Trampled by Turtles was fourth with "Palomino" and Sierra Hull debuted in fifth with "Daybreak," her second album for Rounder. Rascal Flatts was fifth with "Nothing Like This." Kenny Rogers debuted in eighth with "The Love of God."
On the overall top 200, Evans was 6th, Aldean 18th, Lady A 20th, Lewis 22nd and Rascal Flatts 23rd.
