Faith Hill guests on Project Runway finale
Wednesday, April 21, 2010 – Faith Hill will join host Heidi Klum and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia on the season finale of Project Runway this Thursday, April 22 at 10 p.m. Eastern on the Lifetime Network.
"Faith Hill stepped into the toughest Project Runway guest judging seat of the season - the finale, which made her a deciding voice in naming the winner," said 'Runway' Executive Producer Sara Rea. "She took on the task with flying colors. Faith was invested and took the job seriously. She gave constructive, relevant criticism and had a strong point of view. We really enjoyed having her."
"What I saw was truly extraordinary and it made judging very difficult," said Hill. "All of the designers were creative and imaginative. But there were some whose craftsmanship was impeccable. Designers by trade, are always capable of sewing their own clothing, but the tailoring that I saw was extremely impressive; a few in particular knocked me out. The passion that these individuals showed, and their eagerness to learn from feedback and criticism, should prove an inspiration for those that follow them."

Joy to the World
Faith Hill's first Christmas album is an uptown affair, rather than any down home celebration. Making this point from the very outset, the opening title cut features a full adult choir and orchestra. Furthermore, Hill is dressed for the ball in a beautiful red gown on the disc's front cover.

The Hits
Finally, after 14 years in the recording business and more than 30 charting songs, Faith Hill released a greatest hits plus package. The songs go all the way from "Wild One" and "Piece of My Heart," her first two singles ever from 1993 and 1994 with both going number one up to "Mississippi Girl" from 2005 plus a few new songs.
Hill had more of a country vibe starting out, but grew progressively pop (the new and catchy, but not very country "Red Umbrella"). »»» |

Faith Hill stayed so far from her country roots with 2003's "Cries" that she laid an egg on country radio. The album was so pop that there was nothing for radio to play.

This time out, each and every tune is named after an animal, insect or other such nature creature.
