Carrie Underwood partners with Vitamin Energy
Friday, April 18, 2008 – Carrie Underwood is partnering with Vitamin Water, following in the tradition of 50 Cent and Lebron James.
"I have a hectic schedule and Vitamin Water really helps to keep me going," said Underwood. "I like to have a lot of energy
on stage, and since Vitamin energy happens to be my favorite flavor, I'm thrilled to have my name on it."
Underwood is co-creating a limited-edition label for Vitamin energy, which will be available in stores this summer. The label will speak about Underwood's endorsement for vitamin water and feature facts that people may not know about Underwood.
Underwood will be featured in commercials out this summer.
"Carrie epitomizes what vitamin water stands for - healthy living, great personality, natural talent and lots of energy," said Rohan Oza, senior vice president of marketing, Glaceau Vitamin Water. "We are proud to be the first brand to figure out how to bottle Carrie Underwood's energy."

Through three releases, the one constant about Carrie Underwood is her big voice. It's an instrument in and of itself no matter whether going for somewhat of a country sound, a pure pop bent or a tougher, rocking edge. She can add the right touch to sad songs such as Temporary Home in part about a young boy who has to shuffle from home to home or the tough sounding Quitter.

Here it is the top 30 for 2009. This isn't authoritative in case you thought otherwise. It's just one man's opinion about his favorite CDs of the year, which seemed a cut above everything else. It was incredibly hard figuring out a number one CD for the year between the Avett Brothers, Brad Paisley and George Strait. All three were great albums from different perspectives of country and roots music, and at any one time over the past few days, each was my favorite. Come back in a few days, and who knows?
