James Otto releases new single
Tuesday, January 8, 2008 – James Otto recently released "Just Got Started Lovin' You!" If things go well, Otto's album,"Sunset Man," should be released between March and May.
Rascal Flatts's Jay DeMarcus and John Rich co-produced the record. Otto is a member of the Muzik Mafia, which includes Gretchen Wilson and Rich. Otto previously was on Mercury Nashville where he released one album.
In late November and early December, Otto filmed a video for the single. The videos should be sent to CMT and Great American Country later this month.

Sunset Man
James Otto is a member of Muzik Mafia, and his second album reflects the eclectic influences of his troupe. The Washington State native combines country, rock, blues and soul on the 11 songs. He does everything from rockin' tunes about partying, "Ain't Gonna Stop," to the first single, the mid-tempo love song, "Just Got Started Lovin' You." "Days of Our Lives" is not based on the long-running soap opera, but some of the lyrics herein are almost as trite as the long-lost-evil-twin-sibling plotline. Here it is the top 30 for 2009. This isn't authoritative in case you thought otherwise. It's just one man's opinion about his favorite CDs of the year, which seemed a cut above everything else. It was incredibly hard figuring out a number one CD for the year between the Avett Brothers, Brad Paisley and George Strait. All three were great albums from different perspectives of country and roots music, and at any one time over the past few days, each was my favorite. Come back in a few days, and who knows?
