East Texas natives Lee Ann Womack and Tracy Byrd both have roles in the independent film, "Noble Things", about a country singer (Brett Moses) and his off-the-stage challenges.
The movie was filmed in Austin, Beaumont and southeast Texas, according to Texas Music magazine.
I don't know what kind of actor Byrd is - I think he just has a cameo in the film, but Womack plays a police deputy in a small east Texas town. She obviously got more acting experience out of this film.
I can't wait to see it because it's a movie about country music that takes place in Texas....just perfect for me! I anticipate that it'll have a nice soundtrack, too.
